Founded in 1909, the 1st Molesey (Jaguar) Sea Scout group is based within the Esher District in East Molesey, Surrey near the River Thames. We have three sections taking boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 14. The group is lucky enough to be one of only 101 British Sea Scout groups recognized by the Royal Navy and therefore run water activities throughout the summer. We have a variety of water activities to offer including kayaking, canoeing, sailing, gig rowing and even power boating. We run the activities on the River Thames between the Locks of Sunbury and Teddington.

This year we are celebrating both 100 years of scouting at 1st Molesey and 100 years of world Sea Scouting. Many of our members will be attending the international jamboree in Nottingham later this year and we also have plans for our own centenary events
