Welcome Jaguar Sea Scouts are based in East Molesey Surrey near the River Thames. We have three sections taking boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 14. Read more about these sections by clicking on the links above. We are a Royal Navy recognised group and therefore run water activities through the summer. During the winter we enjoy a variety of other activities and also learn the theory needed for the summer season, along with all the usual activities that you might expect from a scout troop - hiking, camping, First Aid, orienteering and backwoods cooking. During the summer term the Scouts and occasionally older Cubs spend their troop nights on the water. We have a variety of Water Activities to offer including kayaking, sailing, rowing and even power boating! We run the water activities on the stretch of the River Thames between the Locks of Sunbury and Teddington. Some of our Scouts go on a costal sailing weekend with another local Sea Scout group to Cobnor, Chidham in Chichester Harbour or go to the Scout Water Activity Centre at Longridge, Marlow. This enables them to gain their level 1 and 2 RYA sailing awards. The group owns a purpose built building on Walton Road that we are planning to extend to house the boating equipment together with a workshop. We also have a large field at our HQ in Molesey that is used to play outdoor games. If you require more information or would like to join please click the "join" link above.
