Our Beaver colony for boys and girls aged 6 to 8 years is the perfect place to have fun and make friends.
Easily recognised by their distinctive turquoise sweatshirts, Beaver scouts are young people usually aged between 6 or 8 years old. The 1st Molesey Beaver colony meets once a week, all year round at our headquarters on Walton Road.
With a varied program and lots of activities, Beaver scouts will make friends, play games, try new things such as cooking and craft making, all providing ample opportunity to let off steam and have lots of fun! Beaver scouts will also work towards many of the badges and awards available to them, ranging from badges for scientific experiments to badges for caring for an animal.
Finally, to complete what is already an action packed programme, Beavers join together with other Esher colonies to participate in district and county organised events such as fun days and activity weekends. One favourite is Bazzaz, Surrey’s Beaver scout fun day with over 1750 Beaver’s in attendance!
