Scouts
Our very successful Scout Troop offers a huge array of outdoor opportunities for boys and girls aged 10½ to 14.
The troop meets on Tuesday evenings at the hut and on Saturday afternoons during the summer months from 12pm onwards at the Hurst Park slipway for water activities. The group owns and has exclusive access to a fleet of kayaks, sailing dinghies, Canadian canoes and rowing boats. The water activities program is varied and the Scouts are able to learn new skills in a safe and friendly environment under instruction by our qualified leaders.
At least twice a year the Scouts join with others in the district to take part in parades, camps and other activities.
